Deficient in nitrogen? Use competitively-priced foliar N now to catch up

If high fertiliser prices deterred you from using as much soil-applied nitrogen as you would have liked, it's not too late to apply foliar N to make up the deficiency. Foliar N is more competitively-priced this year compared with soil-applied fertilisers and it is also particularly effective in dry weather which is forecast to continue.

Once sufficient leaf canopy has developed, foliar nitrogen can partially replace soil-applied N. For example, applying 25 litres of BFS PolyNPlus Foliars (equivalent to just 8kg of nitrogen) between growth stages 32 and 39 can replace 40–50kg of conventional soil-applied nitrogen. Therefore, when soil-applied N prices are high, farmers can use PolyNPlus to make up the nitrogen inputs where they are deficient.

PolyNPlus can be tank-mixed with fungicides, reducing the need for additional field passes. This improves efficiency while lowering input use.

There are several formulations to meet different crop needs: PolyNPlus Cereals; PolyNPlus ManMag; PolyNPlus High Sulphur; and PolyN. Also available, with required trace elements, for oilseed rape and maize are: PolyNPlus Oilseed and PolyNPlus Maize.
